What You'll Need:

-Water (1 cup)

Pour everything in, one at a time, in a mixing jar. Gently stir, so that the cleaner does NOT foam. Pour cleaner in empty bottle.

Summer Slimdown Secrets (featured in Wellness Magazine)

View Wellness Magaize, here.

"1. Set Realistic Goals
Enthusiasm often wanes when pounds don't magically disappear overnight. You can not undo years (or months) of bad habits and achieve the body of your dreams in a few weeks.

2. Look For Situations to be Active
Park as far from the store as you can rather than looking for the closest parking spot. Use the stairs rather than the elevator. If possible, carry your bags out to your car instead of using a cart.

3. Always Eat Breakfast
Studies show that those who skip the frist meal end up eating more total calories throughout the day and tend to make less healthy choices. Skipping breakfast sends the message to your body that you're starving. As a protective mechanism, you're metabolism will slow down.

4. Don't Starve Yourself
Very low calorie diets will, in the short term, help you lose weight but they're extremely difficuly to maintain. You'll gradually become tired and irritable & lack the energy to exercise usually putting the end to your fitness program and leading to the beginning of a binge cycle.

5. Eat Five to Six Small Meals a Day
Try to eat at least 3 meals a day. Optimally you should spread your calories throughout 5-6 small mals per day. This will keep your metabolism roaring, your hunger in check, and your blood sugar level even.

6. Drink Plenty of Water
Drinking water helps you feel full. Many times dehydration can mask itself as hunger, so if you are feeling "snacky" try a glass of water before you eat. Water also helps keep the kidneys flushed, which helps the liver metabolize fat at full force.

7. Follow the 90% to 10% Rule
If you watch your diet 90% of the time, the other 10% is not a problem.

8. Close Your Eyes and Visualize
When the going gets tough or when you just don't feel like it; take a moment and visualize the slimmer, firmer, healthy more engergetic person that you want to be this summer. Focus on the clothes you want to wear and the places where you want would like to be more comfortable. Create a clear mental picture and use it next time you feel like you are losing site of your fitness goal.

9. Eat Your Fruits and Veggies
The American Diet Association recommends at least 3-5 fruit servings per day and 3-7 vegetable servings. Since fruits & vegetables are nutritionally dense and full of fiber, eating plenty will keep your hunger and your body shrinking.

10. Just Do It
The difference between the people strutting their stuff in the summer's skin bearing fashions and those hiding their stuff is simply habits. Those who fit exercise and healthy eating into their lifestyles don't have more time or less stress; they just have healthier habits. The next time that you are unable to follow through on one of your weight loss goals, identify the challenge and prepare a plan for the next time. Don't dwell on it or make excuses for why you can't do it."

The Ultimate At-Home Spa!

Sweet Body Polish

To create this body polish, simply mix a cup of raw sugar with 1/3-cup of olive oil, 1/3-cup of real maple syrup or raw honey and a touch of oatmeal for sensitive skin. Not only does it moisturize and smooth dry skin, but it exfoliates to create a sheen that leaves you glowing. Apply in the bath or shower and rinse.

Luxury Body Toner

Indulge yourself with this age-old body toner recipe used by the finest spas throughout the world. Combine ½-cup of rose or lavender water with distilled water, 1 teaspoon of pure glycerin and all-natural vitamin E oil. Add a teaspoon of witch hazel, then, chill in a misting bottle for a soothing and refreshing body spray that tantalizes from head to toe.

Floral Milk Bath

Create a rose-petal milk-bath for the ultimate spa-at-home experience. You will need 2 to 4 cups of goat's milk or heavy cream, rose petals, Epsom salt and glycerin for a bathing experience unlike any other.

Chocolate Cravings

Create a moisturizing chocolate mask by mixing a large spoon of all-natural cocoa powder with a tablespoon of heavy cream (organic is best), 1 teaspoon of cottage cheese and 4 teaspoons of raw honey. Blend thoroughly and let dry on your face for 10 minutes, then rinse. The result is a purifying facial mask that deep-cleans your skin and leaves it silky smooth.

Berry Mani & Pedi

Give your hands and feet a special treat with our berry best strawberry exfoliate. Carefully wash and crown a dozen strawberries, add two large spoons of apricot or olive oil then add a teaspoon of sea salt. Mix in a blender into a paste then massage into hands and feet. Not only does this concoction leave dry, rough skin feeling soft and supple, but it creates a delightful aromatic sheen to your skin that lasts for hours.

With just a few inexpensive ingredients, it's easy to recreate the luxurious treatments traditionally found in expensive spas. Don’t forget to set the mood by lighting some scented candles, playing relaxing music and, of course, including something delicious to nibble on while you relax.

QualityHealth.com's Health Tip

"Makeup brushes can become a breeding ground for bacteria, so it's
important to wash them every week. To clean yours, simply run the bristles under
warm water, apply a dab of shampoo, and work it into a light lather. Rinse the
bristles thoroughly until no color leaves the brush, and allow the brush to
fully air-dry."
